We’re on a roll! We thought it was time to give the humble sausage roll a Meaty Vegan®️ makeover and this time we’ve crafted a classic you can bake to perfection in your oven in just half an hour.

You don't need meat to be meaty. Our Meaty Vegan® Sausage Rolls contain no animal ingredients in their fillings or pastry.

If our awesome meaty chickpea mince was any less processed it would still be hanging out on the farm! So what is it you ask? We use Australian wheat gluten, Aussie chickpea flour & our secret herbs and spices to make scrumptious meaty chickpea mince knows as Seitan. Seitan contains roughly the same amount of protein as animal meat and is a good source of several minerals. It’s also low in carbohydrates & fats. In short: it’s nutritious, delicious and one of our favourite dishes!

HOW TO BAKE ME

Bake from frozen do not thaw

Step 1

Preheating your oven is essential for best results. Preheat fan forced oven to 200℃ (220℃conventional oven).

Step 2

Remove sausage rolls from pack and place on a lined oven-proof baking tray. Lightly brush top of rolls with water.

Step 3

Place tray in centre of hot oven and bake for 27-32 minutes until golden brown. Heating times and temperatures are only a guide as ovens may vary.

Step 4

Remove from oven and let stand for 2 minutes before serving.

Sausage Rolls must be cooked thoroughly before consumption.
