We wanted a chunky Meaty Vegan® pie that really had some bite so we teamed up with the mushroom meat wizards at Fable for this one. Their Plant Based Braised Beef is made from shiitake mushrooms and is the perfect partner for our rich gravy, meaty portobello mushrooms and posh pastry. Got a problem with that? We don't give a shiitake.

Bake from frozen do not thaw

Step 1

Preheat fan forced oven to 200°C (220°C conventional oven).

Step 2

Remove pies from pack (leave in foil) and place on an oven-proof baking tray. Tip: Brush top of pies with your preferred milk e.g. soy milk or water.

Step 3

Place tray in centre of hot oven and bake for 26-30 minutes until golden brown.

Step 4

Remove from oven and let stand for 2 minutes before serving.

Please note: To store, keep frozen at or below -18. Do not refreeze after thawing. Bake from frozen, do not thaw. Heating times and temperatures are only a guide as ovens may vary. Pies must be cooked thoroughly before consumption. Caution: filling may be very hot.
